vote early, vote often

October 28th, 2008 by kevin

when you vote early, you feel like voting again and again and again. it’s kind of like riding a roller coaster.

chicago mel and i got our vote on this afternoon …

mel showed initial signs of not being able to hang:

but she pulled out of it and we made it to the louisiana state archives building out on essen lane:

there were folks lined up to participate in the democratic process:

the line continued inside …

thy will be done … vote early, vote often.

fourth picture down. i find the back of that guy’s neck really funny. it’s probably the only time in my life that i’ll ever see that guy and the only way i know him is from the back of his neck. p.s. great job on voting.

i got intimate with that guy’s neck, what having stood behind him for probably an hour and a half. i felt like i should have offered to buy that guy’s neck a glass of white wine after all was said and done. at first i thought the back of that guy’s neck was creepy, but i came to appreciate it, and now i miss it, the back of that guy’s neck. such is life.

does it make anyone else nervous that you waited an hour and a half to early vote??? tuesday is going to be a nightmare and i’m now hearing that early votes have a higher likelihood of not being counted. i watch FOX. i’m wiling to do something deviant to make sure my vote counts at least once. i’ll call you from jail.

i wasn’t timing it, but we were there for awhile. i was shocked by the turnout, personally. it was the longest i’ve ever waited to vote … by far … and it was a week early. jail builds character. i say there’ll be a lot of us in jail if shit goes wrong tuesday.

i voted yesterday, and all i can say is if mccain takes illinois, we know it was stolen.
i must say i still got a queasy feeling when i put my ballot in the opti-scan machine, though.
i don’t think it (you’re vote counting, that is) has as much to do with when you vote as where you vote.
here’s the barometer-if obama doesn’t win, it was stolen.
i saw many obama signs in jonesboro, il.
i know this doesn’t mean anything to y’all, but here’s what it means to me:
if obama doesn’t win, it was stolen.
and when the results say that only 60 million voted for obama, then all 100 million of us better show up in washington, army brigades and sonic weapons be damned.

i think he’s going to win by a shitload. but if he doesn’t, there’s gonna be riots. i’m personally going down to the gardere district here in the red stick and joining an armed black revolutionary group to burn down the huey p long capital building. for starters. if the gardere group won’t have me, i gotta feeling those whole foods yups have something cantankerous planned as well. we’ll give ‘em hell. makes you kind of hope he doesn’t win. street fighting might be what we really need.
