David Letterman’s trying to act all ironic like he’s poking fun at Tracy’s expense, but Tracy clearly knows this is going on and somehow manages to add a third layer of irony. You can tell the audience is clearly laughing with Tracy, not David.
all i can say is, it’ll bring down the value of the emmy, but it’ll bring up the value of the frigerator.
