i almost forgot about this golf course we passed. the ‘up to par’ links in garland. i made dad pull over so i could snap a few shots. the pictures don’t do it justice. i think they were trying to get the us open here next year, but they gave up. if you blink, you might miss the sign telling you where to turn:

this amazes me, because they’re obviously taking the time and effort to water the greens once in a while. it begs the question, ‘what’s the point?’

rule 2 is better. by far.
i know … after ‘you must pay,’ it’s ‘don’t make a racket.’ classy place. i’m surprised there wasn’t a ‘you must check your knife in the pro shop’ rule.
rule three is a bit more ‘inside’ golf humor, i guess … if you have to tell people not to play with range balls – in written form no less – you are running a very low brow golf course.
