made me think of mr. waits this morning. found this quote of him talking about his wife. they write a lot of music together:

speaking of the woods …

went off on a woodland adventure with a pair of mecholskys yesterday:

they are quite a pair, these two. lotta talent. lotta heart. we got fun ideas involving these two. should keep them around on retainer. we did a string quartet part on ‘it’s getting hard,’ and sarah just devoured a cello break in the middle of greyhound (an e flat piano song, come to think of it). seriously, it’s something else. i had the strong desire to propose to her on the spot at one point. kept it professional, though. growth moment …

here ends the tracking of god’s holy album. ‘the traveler’ should be mixed and printed in early 2011. feels good to say that.

james long’s infamous holiday party didn’t disappoint. i got to start a huge fire with diesel fuel and watch it burn into embers lingering along into the wee hours with a hold on hope drinking nola blonde, the area’s best beer, hands down, not up for discussion.
