i don’t remember … possibly. i was talking to nader on the phone when i took the picture. he was telling me one of his new jokes … something about how the saying ‘it’s the thought that counts’ must have been coined by someone who was never the recipient of a really shitty gift.

btw, if you’re still interested in being involved in the mix of this record, we should talk about getting you a few of the ones we have almost tracked. i figure i could get them as organized and roughed out as possible (no automation or anything, probably, just ball park levels) and then send them off to you. i’d send you some notes along with it, and of course we could talk, too. if you got some preliminary work going, we could come up at some point when it’s all close for a weekend final mix/master party. or something. and we’d pay you!

how would i go about getting these to you? i don’t have a dvd burner. flash drive? hard drive? ftp site? what do you think?

Dude, I will totally help you on some mixes. Please no automation. That just makes it a pain in the ass. The files will probably average somewhere around 4GB per song. If we can figure out a ftp site solution, that would be best. We could also look into “sendthisfile” and see if that would work.

I refuse to take money from you. I’ve gotten my share of free mixes handed to me. Plus you might hate it.

Any communication about mixes needs to happen here under the fart bubble picture.

sorted. this site has ftp access. i’m pretty sure it’s big enough, so we can just use it.

i’ll see what i can corral here in the next few days as far as a track or two.

meet you pool side … bring a breathing mask.
