Darby bought me the Nirvana Unplugged in New York DVD for Christmas. It might have been ten years since I watched it. Cleaning up the kitchen later singing “there’s nothing on the top but a bucket and a mop and an illistrated book about birds” I might as well have been driving through cornfields on a Friday night in Hooch’s blue Escort with a mild yet exciting central Illinois buzz on. Makes me wanna live a little bit more. Hit the spot.
Kurdt held his funeral and invited us all. Lillies and candles and his favorite songs. Something nice to see, now that it’s Christmas, up in this drafty cabin in a lonely town.
Who needs action when you’ve got words?
