    Two speedy runners
    on base
Bum Ho Lee the final hope
    for South Korea
Interesting that Team Japan is not playing
    deep
    He was sitting
    on a slider
    and he rips it
    in the hole
    As usual, John,
    bases on balls will hurt
    you
Now Japan’s best hope is extra
    innings

You’re on–I love seeing the cubbies beat the cardinals in the self proclaimed “best sports city as long as our team’s winning”.
I’ll get my f-bombs ready (in fact i already said “fuck the cardinals” to myself forty-two times while typing this).
maybe nader can join us–it’s always more fun with a cardinal fan in tow.
yes, this is the only solace i receive on a regular basis as a cubs fan.

i’m sorry did someone say my name?

god i don’t understand the behavior surrounding the cubs-cardinals rivalry … seemingly rational, loving people lose their minds. gotta take it to the left coast where we can handle our rivalries with a certain detached indifference. still … i’m there. i’ll be wearing my ‘free barry bonds’ t-shirt.

    who’s barry?

  • 7 kevin Apr 6, 2009 at 6:40 pm

barry is the source of my paper i’m writing for the rhetoric of science of medicine. i argue that he, while being a real prick, is the one in the steroid era’s cast of characters who, in some ways, is the most honest voice in a sea of hypocrisy and bull shit. i’ll send you a copy when it’s done …
