while this entry took second place in the baba booey song parody contest, i think it’s safe to say that booey joel is a slice of genius.
perhaps a bit obscure for the casual observer, but give it a listen anyway. whoever put this photo montage together got straight to the essence of fa fa fooey.
here’s a link to the lyrics.
how did you ever find a spouse/with that italian cesspool mouth?

earlier booey parodies were simpler, and involved substituting the words baba booey in place of the lyrics of a song. there were rarely any other lyrics except for baba booey.
while this still remains a vital genre of booey parodies, these simple renditions have started to become a bit passe, and have recently been replaced by increasingly complex works (as the above epic can certainly attest to.)
here’s a parody i sent into the show once that never made the air. in the spirit of the older genre, i give you what is and what should never booey.

I miss stern-i wish the merge would happen already.
the young turks and lionel satisfy my brain on xm, but sometimes a man needs to be a man.
do they sell posters of the shot with the magnifying glass or the one with the tom selleck stache?
how did this one not win?
the merger is official … i don’t know when you’ll be able to hear it, though. i can’t wait to hear baseball
one of the coolest things about howard is he’s never sold out to merchandising. you can not buy a shirt, mug, hat, poster, what have you with a likeness of the show on it. contrast that to bill o’reilley or rush. so, the answer is, sadly, no. but the fans pick up the slack and create their own art (another fantastic thing about the stern family). the one that won was good … it’s in the genre of songs that get played when gary fucks up. but this one is the unofficial favorite …
